The Carrington Computer Club for Seniors is an independent not for profit organisation, operating under the auspice of Macarthur's leading aged care facility, Carrington Centennial Care Ltd.
The Club was formed by a group of enthusiastic residents with a desire to assist seniors to learn more about using computers at minimal cost.
From its inception in August 2001 with a membership of 43 persons, it currently caters for all seniors residing in the Macarthur region irrespective of their computer expertise. In excess of 800 members, in total, have benefited from the training sessions, provided by volunteers, since the foundation of the Club.
Club members are entitled to register for a range of ongoing morning or afternoon training courses, each of which may vary from four to eight training sessions of three hours duration. Each course, of up to eight participants, addresses a specialised computer subject and is conducted in an informal relaxed manner with a programme designed to accommodate seniors.
We believe that to learn with ease you must enjoy the experience!
Seniors residing in the Macarthur region are welcome to apply for membership – there is no waiting list.
